Atlanta, GA – February 5, 2025 – All Cops Ain’t Bad, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement and communities, has applied for a grant from the A.J. Muste Foundation’s Organizing Grants Program. The grant will support the organization’s mission of fostering positive community-police relations through humor, outreach programs, and educational initiatives.
Founded in 2020, All Cops Ain’t Bad uses comedy as a powerful tool to engage both law enforcement officers and local communities in honest and meaningful conversations about racial equity, social justice, and systemic reform. With a focus on nonviolent grassroots organizing, the organization seeks to create a more positive dialogue around law enforcement and help heal divisions between communities and the police officers who serve them.
“We are excited to apply for this grant to expand our programs and reach even more communities. Our events not only create a platform for discussion but also bring people together in a way that encourages empathy, understanding, and ultimately change,” said Daryll Triplett, Founder of All Cops Ain’t Bad. “The support from the A.J. Muste Foundation will help us continue to challenge negative stereotypes and work toward systemic change.”
The funds from this grant will be used to support community outreach events, including comedy shows and workshops, which aim to foster understanding, build trust, and encourage open communication between law enforcement and the public. The project will focus on underserved and marginalized communities where building trust with law enforcement is most needed.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, All Cops Ain’t Bad is committed to its mission of making a difference through laughter, education, and community engagement. The organization is excited about the possibility of receiving support from the A.J. Muste Foundation to further its efforts toward making lasting, positive change in communities across the country.
