All Cops Ain’t Bad Chief Development Officer David Simon taps Founder Daryll Triplett – and Applies for the AARP Purpose Prize Award

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cumming, GA – February 19, 2025 – All Cops Ain’t Bad, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement and the communities they serve, is proud to announce its application for the AARP Purpose Prize Award. Founder Daryll Triplett, along with Chief Development Officer David Simon and the ACAB team, is leading the charge in transforming the way law enforcement and communities interact through humor, empathy, and outreach.

With over 30 years of experience navigating complex social issues, Daryll Triplett has witnessed firsthand the division and mistrust between law enforcement and the communities they protect. What began as a desire to make a difference has evolved into a movement that unites people through comedy, outreach programs, and positive engagement. “I’ve seen so much hurt over the years, and I’ve spent a lifetime thinking, ‘Maybe you want to do something good.’ This vision of healing, of showing people that we are all human, drives the mission of All Cops Ain’t Bad,” said Triplett. “We are using humor to make serious connections, break down barriers, and help restore trust and support between police officers and the people they protect.”

David Simon, Chief Development Officer of All Cops Ain’t Bad, has played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s impact. “Daryll’s vision is powerful, and as Chief Development Officer, my role is to help amplify that vision and reach more communities. This initiative is about more than just improving relationships between law enforcement and residents—it’s about creating real, sustainable change that fosters unity and understanding across all backgrounds,” said Simon.

The AARP Purpose Prize Award honors individuals who have dedicated themselves to creating positive social impact in their communities. Triplett’s work in bridging the gap between law enforcement and the public aligns perfectly with the mission of the Purpose Prize, recognizing individuals over 50 who are addressing complex societal issues with innovative, long-term solutions. “We are deeply honored to be considered for this prestigious award and are committed to continuing our work of fostering understanding and healing,” said Triplett.

All Cops Ain’t Bad is fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is committed to delivering positive social change through outreach programs, comedy events, and community-building initiatives. The organization’s work is not religious and seeks to engage individuals from all walks of life in its mission to foster trust, respect, and unity.
