All Cops Ain’t Bad Seeks Funding for Community Outreach and Gender Justice Initiatives

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cumming, GAFebruary 28, 2025 — All Cops Ain’t Bad, a nonprofit organization focused on bridging the gap between law enforcement and marginalized communities, is seeking a $10,000 grant from the Mobilize Power Fund to expand its community outreach programs and initiatives centered on gender justice. This funding will enable the organization to address urgent community needs, support BIPOC youth leaders, and promote positive engagement between law enforcement and vulnerable groups.

The proposed project focuses on providing education, resources, and opportunities for dialogue to address systemic inequities in law enforcement and support marginalized gender identities, particularly transgender, queer, and gender non-conforming individuals. The organization’s work is especially needed following recent incidents of violence, which have heightened tensions and distrust between law enforcement and communities of color.

“We’re excited to expand our work, particularly with youth and marginalized genders who have been disproportionately affected by violence and discrimination,” said Daryll Triplett, founder of All Cops Ain’t Bad. “This grant will allow us to engage community members in meaningful conversations, provide leadership opportunities for BIPOC youth, and continue to create a safer, more trusting environment for everyone.”

The funding will be used for a variety of activities including:

  • Stipends for BIPOC youth leaders and gender-diverse individuals involved in decision-making roles.
  • Hosting workshops and community events to promote understanding between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
  • Organizing comedy events to break down barriers and foster open dialogue between officers and community members.
  • Creating and distributing educational materials related to gender justice and law enforcement interactions.

The initiative will also focus on building leadership opportunities for young people, particularly those under 35, and ensuring that their voices are central to the conversations about safety, justice, and community healing.

All Cops Ain’t Bad’s work aligns with the Mobilize Power Fund’s goal of supporting projects that focus on intersectional, gender-justice lenses and prioritize leadership from directly impacted communities.
