Choosing A.C.A.B to receive your car donation is a great choice for you because you can rest assured that they will be able to provide you with all the necessary documentation for your tax deduction. A.C.A.B is able to do this because it is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization (EIN: 87-4140624) which means that it is eligible to receive tax-deductible donations.

Our Quick and Easy Donation Process

You only need to spare a few minutes of your time to donate your RV to us. Once you’ve decided to let go of your unwanted camper and donate the RV to charity, just inform us either by phone or by filling out our online donation form, and that’s it for you. Our team will manage everything else from that point on, including doing all your paperwork.

Here’s a quick guide to the three-step donation process we follow in our RV donations program:

1. Reach out to us.

Provide us basic details about your RV. We’ll then call you back to arrange a date, time, and place for its free towing. Just give us your complete address or the place where your RV is located, and we will coordinate with a professional towing company to collect your vehicle.

2. We haul off your vehicle.

Be sure that your RV’s title and keys are ready. We will issue you a towing receipt before we take your vehicle. The receipt releases you from all liability on your donated vehicle from that point onward. The receipt also allows you to de-register your vehicle from your local DMV and have its insurance coverage canceled.

3. We send your tax deduction receipt.

When you donate an RV, tax deduction benefits are included. Within 30 days following the sale of your RV, we will send you your 100-percent tax-deductible sales receipt via mail or e-mail. You will need this receipt in claiming your tax deduction when you file your itemized federal tax return in the next tax season.

The Types of RVs You Can Donate

While many organizations are highly selective in accepting vehicles being offered for donation, choosing only those that are in good shape, we at A.C.A.B Car Donations are not that choosy. We accept even RVs that are no longer working properly. As long as you have your vehicle’s proof of ownership or title, you have nothing to worry about.
